Dan Wilson, B.Comm., R.l.(BC), AACI, MRICS.
Dan, the owner of Jackson & Associates, has worked for more than 16 years as a real estate appraiser and consultant on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. Over that time, he has acquired a vast wealth of knowledge on all facets of real estate. He’s also developed a particular expertise in remote properties, ecological gift valuation, commercial and industrial properties and residential development.
Dan obtained his bachelor of commerce in Urban Land Economics from UBC in 1993. He holds an AACI Designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada, along with an RI Designation from the Real Estate Institute of BC and an MRICS designation from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors . Each is the highest designation awarded by its respective organization. From 2007 to 2009, Dan served as president of the BC Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Dan is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Jamie Macleod, R.I.(BC), AACI, P.App.
Jamie joined Jackson & Associates in 2006 after 13 years with BC Assessment. He has considerable expertise in the valuation of all types of commercial, residential and investment properties throughout the Vancouver Island Region. Jamie has an AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada and an RI designation from the Real Estate Institute of BC. Locally, he specializes in ICI valuations and is our resident North Island expert, serving all areas north of the Comox Valley.
Steve Blacklock, BBA, AACI, P.App.
Steve joined Jackson & Associates in 2006 after six years with BC Assessment in Vancouver. Steve has a business degree from Simon Fraser University and holds an AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He specializes in project valuation, with particular expertise in the Powell River and Sunshine Coast areas.
Dennis Larson, CRA
Dennis joined Jackson & Associates in 1998, bringing more than 20 years of valuation experience to our team. Dennis specializes in residential properties of up to four units and has extensive experience in the valuation of Gulf Island properties. Dennis holds a CRA designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Rory Macleod, R.I.(BC), CRA
Rory joined Jackson & Associates in 2001 after working as an appraiser for more than 25 years throughout the Lower Mainland, Victoria and Northern Vancouver Island. Rory holds a CRA designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada and an RI Designation from the Real Estate Institute of BC.
Tanya Vosberg, BA
Tanya joined Jackson & Associates in 2005 after several years with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Commission in Victoria. Tanya has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Victoria and is currently working toward her CRA designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Lene Trieu, BA, CA
Lene joined Jackson & Associates in 2005 as our office manager/controller after a number of years in the private sector working as a chartered accountant. Lene also provides research assistance and reviews financial data for some of our more complex valuations.
Allison Hildebrandt
Allison joined Jackson & Associates in 2010 as an office administrator and brings with her extensive experience in administrative roles. Most recently, Allison was employed by the Cunningham Lindsey in the administration of their local insurance adjustment office. Among other administrative duties, Allison provides support in the preparation of appraisal and consulting reports.
Carole Atkins
Carole joined Jackson & Associates in 2009 after working for many years with BC Ferries and Dundee Securities. She provides support in the preparation of appraisal and consulting reports, as well as other general administrative duties
