Steve Blacklock receives his AACI designation!

Our congratulations go to Steve Blacklock on completing his designation requirements for the AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Steve has been working as an appraiser with Jackson & Associates since 2006 and previously as an assessor with BC Assessment in Vancouver. In August 2009, Steve successfully completed his oral examination – the last step in achieving his designation. He was awarded his certificate on October 2, 2009 by National President Sheila Young and Provincial President Dan Wilson. We look forward to many years with Steve.
Steve is a local Comox Valley man, who grew up in Comox, and graduated from Highland Secondary in 1992. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Adminstration from Simon Fraser University.
Obtaining an AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada is a rigorous which includes an undergraduate degree, further study through UBC and the AIC, an applied experience process, and a series of case studies, and exams.
When not assisting clients with their valuation needs, Steve can usually be found on one of the local golf courses.
